A message for delegates and authorised representatives for the IHEU General Assembly 2014.

The agenda and other papers for the 2014 IHEU General Assembly in Oxford are available below for download by IHEU Member Organizations and representatives authorized to participate in this year’s General Assembly.

The papers for the GA will not be available in hard copy form in Oxford. If you want to have a hard copy of the papers at the GA, you must download the papers, print them, and bring them to the meeting. Full details for the General Assembly are available at https://humanists.international/notice-of-general-assembly-2014/ .

You will need a password to open the papers below after downloading them. Member Organizations, MO representatives who have been nominated for this meeting, and all others who have registered for the General Assembly before the deadline will be emailed the password to open the PDF files.

How to download and view the GA papers

NB: These papers are password protected. To download the file, right-click the link below. A context menu should appear. Choose “Save Link As…” (Firefox, Chrome) or “Save Target As…” (Internet Explorer) and select a location to which to download the PDF. When opening the PDF you will need to enter the password which has been emailed to authorised representatives.

GA 2014 Agenda & Papers

Update 2014-July-28: The 90 minute workshop on Thursday afternoon will be interactive with participants split into groups for discussion. The session will be based on policy issues for which a supplementary paper is now available. This is a draft statement of IHEU’s consolidated policy,  which the EC will ask the GA to adopt the text as a summary of existing policy, and providing a framework thereafter for amendment as IHEU policy changed or moved into new areas. In their introductory remarks David and Andrew will explain this approach and the work that has been done until now. There can be Q&A and then we proceed to the workshop topics. Delegates with the password can download it at the link:
