Executive Director of IHEU, Babu Gogineni has been invited to participate in a discussion which took place on Thursday 7 November at 5.30 pm UK time in a programme on “Religion and Politics”. The programme was broadcast live all over the world – Jane Verjee and Jim Clancy were the CNN anchors.
The 30 minute debate/discussion programme featured Taslima Nasrin (a persecuted author, in New York studio), Babu Gogineni (as Executive Director International Humanist and Ethical Union, from London), Bishop Rev Jim Wallace (who recently authored a letter asking for a scaleback on Iraq-related war preparations) and Islamic Scholar Ingrid Matsen (US).
