Media Zero to Media Hero – a free online publicity workshop for Humanist leaders

If you are a group seeking to grow membership and influence public opinion, nothing beats media coverage. Good stories – whether in print, broadcast media or the Web – raise public awareness, attract supporters, and lend credibility to your mission. And best of all, it’s free! IHEU is organizing a free interactive online webinar open to Humanists worldwide to learn the secrets of effective publicity.

Humanists have an important and topical message yet they often struggle to get media attention.

So what can a humanist group or leader do to get more media attention?

On Wednesday, May 27 from 1 to 2 pm EDT* join Matt Cherry and Shannon Cherry for a free interactive online webinar on how the media works and how to work the media. This groundbreaking, exclusive event is free to all IHEU member organizations and their representatives. All you need is a phone and a computer with an internet connection.

About the Presenters:

Matt Cherry is a long-time humanist leader with a background in public relations. He is currently International Representative for IHEU.

Shannon Cherry is TV news reporter turned PR professional. She has created and run publicity campaigns for groups ranging from Minolta Cameras to the United States Department of Justice, as well as many non-profit groups.
