IHEU member organization One Law for All will mark International Women’s Day with an all-day conference in London on “Women’s Rights, Sharia Law and Secularism” on March 12, 2011.
Venue: University of London Union, Malet Street, London WC1E.
Time: 10 am to 7 pm (Registration begins at 10am for a 10.30am start).
Theme: The one day conference marking International Women’s Day will discuss: Religion’s Impact on Women’s Rights; Religion and Secularism and Religion and the Law.
Keynote Speaker: Philosopher AC Grayling will give the keynote address.
