To mark World Humanist Day on June 21, the British Humanist Association (BHA) has launched a new online resource called The Really Simple Guide to Humanism. The website features quizzes, games and videos, as well as answers to some of the most common questions about Humanism.

The website at www.SimpleGuideToHumanism.org.uk  features videos of Humanists including writers Sue Blackmore, Zoe Margolis, David Nobbs, neurobiologist Colin Blakemore, comedians Ed Byrne and Lucy Porter, philosopher A C Grayling, and journalist and BHA president Polly Toynbee. An online quiz helps users find out if they are Humanists with ten simple questions. And the ‘Spot the Humanist’ game highlights renowned Humanists from past and present.

Andrew Copson, BHA chief executive and vice president of the International Humanist and Ethical Union, said, “The Really Simple Guide to Humanism will help many millions of non-religious people know that, far from being somehow deficient in their values, they have an outlook on life which is coherent and widely-shared, which has inspired some of the world’s greatest artists, writers, scientists, philosophers and social reformers, and which has a millennia-long tradition.”
