The International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU) is pleased to launch a new website, freethoughtreport.com available from today.

Freethoughtreport.com is a hub for information and collaboration on the international Freedom of Thought report published by IHEU.

The Freedom of Thought report itself, which launched last December to mark Human Rights Day, focuses on “discrimination against Humanists, atheists and the non-religious”. The report will be updated with new editions on an annual basis.

The new site explains what the Freedom of Thought report is, and provides ‘freedom of religion or belief’ resources especially for individuals being persecuted for their religion or belief.

In addition there is a mechanism for the submission of new information for the report with a webform to guide experts through the process of making a submission.

IHEU is inviting all its Member Organizations and any other experts to help create an expanded Freedom of Thought report for 2013, with even wider, richer coverage of persecution and discrimination against the non-religious.
