Humanists International has today announced its 2022 Grants Program to support projects that give solutions to humanist issues and promote humanism for our Members and Associates to become more effective, resilient, and sustainable.

A core function of Humanists International is to have successful and sustainable member organizations in every part of the world. To achieve this, Humanists International runs on a yearly basis a Growth & Development Plan to provide funding, training, intellectual resources, and other forms of support to let humanist organizations around the world develop and flourish.

The 2022 Grants Program that has been announced today consists of six different grant programs:

  • Development Grants (£25,000)
  • Digital Humanism Grants (£10,000)
  • Regional Networking Meetings Grants (£5,000)
  • Humanist Ceremonies Grants (£5,000)
  • Café Humaniste Online Grants (£5,000)
  • Young Humanist Grants (£14,000)

All details about the six grant programs, the eligibility, and selection criteria, and how to apply for a grant are available on our website under the Growth & Development page.

The deadline to apply is 11 March 2022 and during the next two months, the staff of Humanists International will make themselves available to discuss all project proposals with our Members and Associates.

Javan Lev Poblador, Acting Membership Development Officer of Humanists International, added:

“Last year, we funded innovative humanist projects from our Members and Associates and saw the positive impact of their work on individuals and communities.

“In 2022 Humanists International is opening again its Grants Program to offer substantial support to our Members and Associates and help them become more effective and resilient.

“It is thanks to the generous support of our Members and Associates that we are able to distribute these much-needed grants.”
