This project aims to introduce and normalize non-religious weddings
and funerals across Peru as meaningful alternatives to religious life-cycle events.
Implementation includes producing a promotional video, distributing a dedicated edition of
the Boletín Humanista magazine, and publishing educational articles in Peru’s leading
national newspaper (El Comercio). Additionally, the initiative will identify and train potential
celebrants to lay the groundwork for a sustainable, professional ceremonial network.

Problem/Issue: Life-cycle events in Peru are dominated by religious institutions, leaving the
growing secular population without public awareness of or access to trained celebrants for
non-religious ceremonies.

No. of Beneficiaries: 5,000

Impact: The outreach campaign will reach over 5,000 individuals across digital
platforms and national press, generate direct inquiries for non-religious services, and
establish a trained local celebrant network capable of generating independent revenue.
