About the project
Elementary education in the Philippines favors indoctrination. Whether it be the public education system or the large number of private schools which have religious links or backing, religious practices are still taught to young students.
This is where HAPI and this project come in. This project would be done in two steps:
The production of a bilingual storybook aimed at a readership of 8 to 12-year-old Filipino students. Distribution of the said storybook in key areas in the Philippines, via book donations to public schools, readings during outreach programs, and other similar methods.
