The National University of San Marcos in Peru is renowned as one of the country’s top national universities. It is distinguished by its student self-governance, the social consciousness displayed by its students, and its inclusive community that welcomes diverse groups, ideas, and movements. The objective of the project is to establish a young secular humanist group within the university. Currently, the Executive Director, who will serve as the project manager, is enrolled as a student at the National University of San Marcos. They have active membership in multiple student WhatsApp groups and are well-known for their previous role as a representative for incoming students in their field of study. This advantageous position will facilitate the creation of the young secular humanist group within the university.
