The Zimbabwe Humanist Digital Hub aims to create a central online space for Zimbabweans to learn about humanism through text, audio, and video. This project hopes to attract new humanists and counter existing religious influences in media and education. They plan to build online communities, create informative content, and improve their website to make it more user-friendly.
Problem/Issue:
The Zimbabwe Humanist Digital Hub aims to address the lack of resources and community for humanists in Zimbabwe. Religion has been heavily ingrained in society through education and media, leaving no space for humanist ideas. This project will create online educational resources and independent media to counter religious influence. It will also build online communities for the growing number of young Zimbabweans interested in humanism.
