Work

It is the sense of the Congress that “work” for humanists, whether it is paid for or done outside of the economic market, is understood both as a way of contributing to social necessities and to enhancing the quality of personal life. Work is not merely a means for acquiring material possessions. We believe that work itself must be humanised and enriched and work must be available for all and valued by all.
