Humanists International is a small, but growing, international not-for-profit based in London. We are looking for an experienced admin officer to join our team and help us manage our growth.
This post will take over aspects of work that are currently done by other staff, and external consultants. This means that part of the job will involve creating new internal processes and systems.
This post may require infrequent travel, but will be largely office-based. The position is 0.6FTE, working 3 days in 5 in a fixed pattern.
This post reports to the Chief Executive.

Tasks will include the following bookkeeping tasks:
Are you aged 18-35? Are you an individual member of a Humanists International member organization or youth section? Live anywhere on the Earth? Then you could run for office in Young Humanists International?
Up until 14 May you can apply for the position of Vice-President and Secretary-General of Young Humanists International, post which will be elected at this year’s General Assembly in Iceland. (You do not need to be able to attend the General Assembly itself.)

Humanists International is dedicated to building the worldwide humanist community, to networking our Member Organizations together, and to advancing our policy agenda at the international and regional levels.
We have a small staff team managing key work areas and coordinating activities between national and local Member Organizations, and we are very grateful to the various volunteers who contribute to our work.
Some of our volunteer opportunities can be worked remotely (online) from anywhere in the world. No previous experience in the organized humanist movement is necessary.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to volunteer in providing research assistance to our Director of Advocacy. The role is based in Brussels, or can be worked remotely if not possible. The volunteer will work under the guidance of our Director of Advocacy and assist her work through research, writing briefing notes, drafting written statements and submissions for our work at international institutions, liaising with our Members and undertaking translation where possible.

The Freedom of Thought report surveys discrimination against the non-religious around the world. You can read about the project and discover the entire Online Edition on the dedicated website at freethoughtreport.com.
A team of researcher volunteers works to keep the report up to date on an ongoing basis. You may either join the team with permanent access to the report’s collaborative editing suite, or if your availability is limited to a shorter time frame you may be able to focus on a specific country, countries, or region. Some skills and experience in writing, research, or policy work would be beneficial.
Volunteers for this project can work remotely from anywhere in the world. Some use of email and online documents will be required.

We are looking for people to help us translate our material and stories. We are looking for individuals who can translate from English into other UN languages.
We are also producing development materials and resource packs for new groups, and we want these also to be translated. We are committed to translating some of our historic resolutions into many languages.
