To support our Members and Associates in navigating the 2026 Grants Program, Humanists International is hosting an intensive, two-part online workshop. This session is designed to demystify the application process, help you align your goals with our selection criteria, and provide direct answers to your technical and strategic questions.

What We Will Cover:

Part 1: Strategy & The Seven Selection Criteria (4 February)

  • Defining Feasibility: Learn how to write a project description that is clear, concise, complete, and credible.
  • Mapping Success: Understanding the difference between Activities, Outputs, and Outcomes.
  • Needs & Risk Assessment: How to provide evidence for your project’s necessity and prove you can mitigate potential local risks.
  • Impact Alignment: Ensuring your project delivers Social Impact for beneficiaries, Global Impact through replicable resources, and Strategic Impact that aligns with our core aims.

Part 2: Budgets, Reliability & Technical Execution (5 February)

  • Building a Consistent Budget: A deep dive into itemizing costs, using British pounds (GBP), and matching your budget logic to your project narrative.
  • Proving Reliability: How to highlight your organization’s track record, past successful projects, and participation within the Humanists International network.
  • The Sustainable Approach: Strategies for showing how your project will continue to benefit the community once the grant period ends.
  • Technical Walkthrough: Advice on following grant guidelines to ensure your submission is complete before the deadline.
