Join Humanists International Board members in Amsterdam for a day of celebration and reflection, as the organization marks the 70th year of its founding and formally launches the Amsterdam Declaration 2022 – a restatement of the principles of Modern Humanism, building on our original Amsterdam Declaration of 1952.
You’ll take a stroll through the city, stopping at sites of special interest to humanists, and other philosophers. Following this walking tour we’ll have a relaxing and informal BBQ dinner at the KIT Royal Tropical Institute.
Over the course of the evening, guests will have the opportunity to browse a selection of articles from the Humanists International archives, such as old letters and photographs.
There will also be some speeches by the guests.
